3 Options Realty was formed out of a perceived economic necessity to adapt to the faltering sales market back in the summer of 2008. Our founder, Dan Wilhelm, recognized that agents were going to have difficulty getting their listings sold, and that prospective buyers were going to have an equally difficult time qualifying for conforming home loans. A new approach was needed if agents were going to survive that challenging period, and if consumers were to find viable home solutions. Dan’s passion for real estate investing, guided him along a nontraditional REALTOR® career path. Although Dan did begin his career as a traditional agent with Coldwell Banker, where he experienced both on and off-site sales, it would be only three years later that he would open a property management company to lease and manage his own properties. He would later move his license to RE/MAX Greater Atlanta where he would excel in sales while simultaneously operating his management company. The management company would quickly grow to an inventory of 100 plus homes where Dan would practice a brand of property management uncommon to that industry. It was this uncommon brand, and the experience that came along with it, that gave life to his vision for a new kind of brokerage, some 12 years later.
