Who We Are Crown Realty & Management is a 30 year old full service real estate company in Atlanta Georgia. Crown’s core business is leasing, lease purchase, and property management but we arrived there by helping investors buy hundreds of houses. We manage 700 houses, maintain 24 staff, have managed over 7,000 tenants and provide a full range of services for private investors, banks, builders, lenders, REIT’s, government agencies, and other brokers. We provide full turnkey, rent ready and rehab services. We offer training and seminars for investors and real estate agents, and are an accredited school with the Georgia Real Estate Commission. Credentials and Designations The National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), the trade association for our industry, offers designations to property managers who work, serve and take courses to learn the intricacies of our business. These designations help the public to identify the knowledge and experience of the managers in the marketplace. Crown has a unique position in the market because we have all the designations offered by NARPM, including the coveted Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC) awarded to only 31 companies in the nation as well as the qualifying broker having a Master Property Manager (MPM) designation. Historical Background Robert and Betty Locke started Crown in the basement of their home in 1978 to manage the houses they were buying for investment. When they ran out of capital they started finding properties for investors and heard “I’ll buy it if you manage it for me”. Crown was the response to that need. To date the Lockes have bought over 200 houses for their own account, have located over 1,000 houses for other investors and grown Crown into a major player in the Atlanta marketplace. Crown has acquired 11 other management companies (including one with 225 properties) and knows what happens ‘under the hood’ of management companies. We have been training and coaching property managers for over 20 years. Robert has spoken at real estate workshops and conventions throughout the United States and other countries.
